Better leaders.
Stronger teams.
One coaching
engagement at a time.
Leadership is learnable.
I’ve spent 25 years proving it.
Part mirror..
Part master practitioner.
Always in your corner.
For 25 years, I’ve coached Directors, VPs, and C-suite leaders through the moments that matter most-helping them close the gap between how they intend to show up and how they actually do.

Why I Do This Work
My passion for this work didn’t start in a classroom. It started with two bosses.
The first boss
She made me feel like a distraction. There was no growth coming, no support, no path forward.
I left feeling devalued in a way that took time to shake.
Then I landed with Jack.
He had an open door. He encouraged me to spread my wings, gave me autonomy, pushed me toward training I wouldn’t have sought on my own, and handed me meetings he could easily have run himself.
He lifted me. Developed me. Made me want to make him look good.
Jack had sight.
He saw potential in me that I couldn’t see in myself and created the conditions for me to step into it.
That’s what I do for leaders today.
The first boss
I let them see themselves through my eyes and help them own it—then use it, practically and deliberately, in their leadership every day.
When I started Path to Change, I did it with one goal: to create more Jacks. One leader at a time.
Background & Credentials

Maureen holds a Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science (Consulting and Coaching in Organizations) and is a professionally accredited coach through the prestigious Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara.

She has worked with leaders across Fortune 100 companies, mid-size firms, and small businesses throughout the Pacific Northwest, with deep expertise in financial services—including work with Parametric and Morgan Stanley.

She has also taught leadership and team development courses for faculty and staff at the University of Washington and Bellevue College.

Many consider her Seattle’s go-to expert in emotional intelligence—earned in part through her popular Workplace Coach column, which ran for over five years in both the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and the Puget Sound Business Journal.
Maureen’s clients consistently describe her the same way:
warm, direct, funny, and refreshingly free of corporate jargon.
She meets leaders exactly where they are—with wisdom, sharp observation, and zero pretense. More than a few have told her she saved their career.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me…
