Terms and ConditionsThese Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of pathtochange.com (the “Site”) and your engagement of coaching and related services from Path to Change, operated by Maureen Moriarty (“Path to Change,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of This Site
This Site and its content are provided for general informational purposes about Path to Change’s coaching and leadership development services. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content from this Site without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.
2. Coaching Services Are Not Therapy or Medical Advice
Executive coaching is a collaborative, forward-looking professional development relationship. It is not psychotherapy, counseling, medical treatment, or a substitute for any of these. Path to Change does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If you are experiencing a mental health concern, please consult a licensed medical or mental health professional.
3. No Guarantee of Results
Coaching outcomes depend substantially on the client’s own effort, circumstances, and organizational context. While we bring 25 years of experience and a structured, evidence-informed approach to every engagement, we do not guarantee specific results, promotions, performance outcomes, or organizational changes.
4. Engagement Terms
Specific terms for individual or sponsored coaching engagements — including scope, fees, scheduling, and cancellation policies — are set out in a separate coaching agreement signed by the client (and, where applicable, the sponsoring organization) prior to the engagement beginning. Where any conflict exists between that agreement and these Terms, the signed coaching agreement governs.
5. Confidentiality
Path to Change treats information shared during coaching sessions as confidential, as described in our Privacy Policy. Confidentiality terms specific to sponsored engagements are addressed in the individual coaching agreement.
6. Assessments
Where a coaching engagement includes a third-party assessment tool, use of that tool may be subject to additional terms set by the assessment provider, separate from these Terms.
7. Discovery Calls
Complimentary discovery calls booked through this Site are offered to explore potential fit for coaching services. Booking a discovery call does not create a coaching engagement or any other obligation between the parties.
8. Payment
Fees, invoicing terms, and payment schedules for coaching engagements are set out in the individual coaching agreement verbal or written. Late or non-payment may result in suspension of services.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including text, graphics, and any downloadable resources — is the property of Path to Change unless otherwise noted, and is provided for your use in connection with exploring or participating in our services, not for resale or redistribution.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Path to Change and Maureen Moriarty shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from coaching services shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.
11. Third-Party Links
This Site may link to third-party websites or platforms (for example, assessment tools or scheduling software). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third-party sites.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise specified in an individual coaching agreement.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
